Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's fans are constantly at war with each other. They engage in debates, arguments and fights where they bad-mouth each other's favourite stars, most times by using the choicest expletives and abuses. Salman took notice of this and issued a strong statement.
Between June 8-10, Salman posted a series of tweets, slamming fans who engage in Twitter battles. And now SRK has done the same.
Salman asked the trollers, "How many of you are on false identities and why. A fan who is on a false identity using it to put another actor, friend or colleague down, is no fan of mine. I don't like this. Simple funda hai. Make this journey beautiful. I didn't sign up for this ugly Twitter war and am not a part of it. Continue it and I will go off Twitter. Came here to spread love, share some thoughts and have fun with fans. Not for them to insult my fraternity." His online rant spanned across two days.
Shah Rukh took to Twitter on Sunday (October 4) to say the same thing. Noticing a couple of disrespectful tweets about Salman and Aamir Khan, SRK tweeted, "On social media you do/say what you feel, free expression blah blah. But will request my people not to deride or abuse other films and colleagues. Not cool. But your life and your rules. Am not here to teach manners. I deal with idiots with sarcasm. M***r B****n users are low on vocabulary and status."
The two actors who had a fallout a few years ago had time and again mentioned in all their interviews how people would try to gain their support by bitching about the other. Salman has previously slammed Imam Siddiqui on Bigg Boss 9 when he claimed to have made SRK the superstar he is today. Not just that, Shah Rukh too has always spoken well about Salman and Aamir and does not believe in the way people try to impress him by abusing his friends. So, the next time you abuse on the social network, be sure both Salman and SRK would simply remove you from their timelines.
